CBS Temporary Bus Diversion

In conjunction with the National Day Parade 2005 Combined Rehearsals and Performances, 13 CBS Services will be diverted in 2 stages.

Change in Dunman High School Charter

With the closure of Mountbatten Rd, the Dunman High school charter route will be amended to ply Sims Way as well.

Currently, the DHS charter route are as follows

AM Peak
Sims Ave, (Geylang Lor 3, Upp Boon Keng Rd), Geylang Lor 1, Mountbatten Rd, (Kg Arang Rd), Tg Rhu Rd

PM Peak
Tg Rhu Rd, Fort Rd, Mountbatten Rd, (Geylang Lor 1), Sims Ave

With the opening of Sims Way, students are encouraged to take CBS94 from Aljunied MRT instead. However, CBSBus Chartering Services Division will provide provisions for students in the first 4 weeks of School Term 3 effective Monday 27th June 2005. During this period, DHS School Charter will call an additional stop along Sims Ave (Kallang MRT) during the morning peak and Geylang Lor 1 Terminal for alighting during the evening peak.

The revised route of the school charter effective Monday 27th June 2005 are as follows:

AM Peak
Sims Ave, Sims Way, Mountbatten Rd, (Kg Arang Rd), Tg Rhu Rd

PM Peak
Tg Rhu Rd, Fort Rd, Mountbatten Rd, Sims Way, Geylang Rd, Geylang Lor 1 Terminal

The charter route will be reviewed weekly to suit the changing travel patterns of Dunman High School students following the closure of Mountbatten Rd. Changes in route, if any, will be updated accordingly.

Permanent Closure of Mountbatten Rd

From Sunday 5th June 2005, Mountbatten Rd between Geylang Rd & Nicoll Highway/Gulliemard Rd towards Katong will be closed. As such, CBS15, 16, 25, 33 and 94 will be amended to ply their amended route via Sims Way. These services will call at the bus stop along Sims Way. In addition, CBS15 16 25 will call at Sims Ave (Kallang MRT Stn) & Sims Ave (Aft Geylang Lor 1), CBS33 will call at Sims Ave (Aft Geylang Lor 1) while CBS94 would have to skip Geylang Rd (Bef Geylang Lor 1) with this amendment.

Current: Kallang Rd, (Sims Ave, Geylang Lor 1), Mountbatten Rd
Amended: Kallang Rd, Sims Ave, Sims Way, Mountbatten Rd

These 3 services will call at 2 stops along Sims Ave with the amendment.

CBS33
Current: Geylang Lor 1, Mountbatten Rd
Amended: Geylang Lor 1, Sims Ave, Sims Way, Mountbatten Rd

These service will call at 1 stop along Sims Ave with the amendment.

CBS94
Current: Geylang Rd, Mountbatten Rd
Amended: Geylang Rd, Sims Way, Mountbatten Rd

These service will skip 1 stop along Geylang Rd with the amendment.
