CBS provides Special Charter for Project Superstar Concert

CBS is proud to be the sponsor for the Project Superstar Concert, which is to be held at the EXPO Pavilion on the evening of Friday 30th September 2005. As such, CBS will provide a special charter service between Expo and various interchanges around Singapore after the show. The frequency will be ad-hoc and will be deployed accordingly to cater to the demand. The operating details are as follows:

Introduction of Shortworking Trip 42A

With Effect from Monday 3rd October 2005, CBS42A will be introduced to ply from Bedok Int to Temasek Polytechnic between 0700 - 0900 hrs. This is to cater to the students of Temasek Polytechnic who are commuting daily to campus every morning. In a bid to optimise our service level and to cut resources between the lower demand sector of Temasek Poly & Tampines Int, more trips of CBS42A can thus be operated.

Temporary Diversion for NUS Centennial Challenge

On Sunday 18 Sept 2005, some of NUS Kent Ridge Campus roads will be closed to facilitate the DBS-NUS Centennial Challenge Heritage Run. The roads closed would include Kent Ridge Cres, Kent Ridge Dr and part of Lower Kent Ridge Rd. They will be temporarily closed from 0700hrs to 1100hrs.

During the closure, CBS Services 20, 32 and 86 will be diverted as shown below.



In addition, to cater to the people attending the event, CBS20 will commence operations from Buona Vista MRT towards Kent Ridge @0600hrs.

Amendment of CBS50

The new Kallang Bahru Flyover, accessible via Sims Way, will be opened to traffic on 11 September 2005 from 5.00am. The existing slip road entry to the PIE (Tuas) from Aljunied Road will be permanently closed on 11 September 2005 at 12.30am.

In view of the above permenent road closure by the LTA, CBS50 will be amended to ply via Aljunied Rd (Aljunied MRT), Geylang Rd (Express) & Sims Way before entering the PIE. This is in the direction towards Choa Chu Kang.

The route for the direction towards Eunos will remain unchanged.
