CBSBus Diversion Plan

With effect from Tuesday, 27th April 2004, with the closure of the exclusive bus lane along Geylang Lor 1 towards Upp Boon Keng Rd, CBS24 & CBS33 will be diverted until further notice. This is due to the Nicoll Highway incident and with the increase in traffic capacity along Kallang Rd, an extra lane is needed along Geylang Lor 1 for traffic travelling towards Mountbatten Rd.

As such, both services will call at an extra bus stop along Sims Ave, outside Kallang MRT Stn.

CBS24 towards Pasir Ris & CBS33 towards Tampines will not be affected.

CBS24 towards St Michael's Ter:
Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, (U-turn before ERP Gantry), Kallang Rd, Sims Ave, Geylang Lor 1, and continue via normal route.

CBS33 towards Toa Payoh:
Mountbatten Rd, Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, (U-turn before ERP Gantry), Kallang Rd, Sims Ave, Geylang Lor 1, and continue via normal route.
